Help Someone Get the Care They Need

Every day across the Charleston area, patients miss treatment, seniors struggle to get groceries, and families face overwhelming stress simply because they do not have reliable transportation.

At The Way There and Back (TWTB), we believe transportation should never be a barrier to care.

That is why we are looking for compassionate volunteer drivers who want to make a real difference—one ride at a time.

Why Volunteer with TWTB?

When you drive for TWTB, you are doing far more than providing transportation.

A ride, start to finish

  1. Pick your rider up at their front door.
  2. Help them in and out of the car.
  3. Wait during the appointment, or shop alongside them.
  4. If needed, carry their bags inside.
  5. Bring them safely home — every ride is there and back.

You are:

  • Helping a patient get to a critical medical appointment
  • Bringing relief to a family carrying heavy burdens
  • Supporting seniors and individuals in need
  • Giving peace of mind during difficult moments
  • Becoming the reason someone gets the help they need today

This is meaningful service with immediate impact.
